Meet Joyee

My financial journey officially started when I got kicked out of my parents’ house at 19. That drove me to needing to figure out how to make more money and learn how to make my money work for me. 

I don’t have a formal education in finance - everything I’ve learned is self taught! That’s how I can explain financial concepts in a way where anyone can understand them - because I was once clueless and didn’t know financial literacy. Every single video I make, I make sure that the 19 year old Joyee would understand it. 

All of my friends started asking me how I managed to save so much money, and how I bought a condo at the age of 23 (while working as a server and a minimum wage government job). I told them my strategies and after they followed them and started seeing real results, I knew I had something valuable to share. Now, I’m on a mission to help more people achieve the same financial wins! 

Today, I have over $300k in assets and this is all because I’ve used the same budgeting system since I was 19 years old. You can grab this budgeting template under the “Tools” section of this website - it has helped me and so many others stay on track. 

When I’m not creating free financial content on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, I am collaborating with big companies like TD Bank, BMO Bank, Blue Jays Care Foundation or teaching financial literacy to local high schoolers to further promote financial education! 

My goal is to ensure that financial education is accessible to everyone and not gate kept within the rich.
